Concussions impact all aspects of a child’s life.  Kyra’s background in neurotrauma has set her apart in her field. Kyra explains how and why she cares about educating people about concussions. Concussions do impact a child’s ability to learn and Kyra wants to change people’s perspectives. Concussions can and often do occur even if there isn’t a blackout.

Kyra Minichan is not a traditional SLP. With another degree in education in addition to her degree in speech-language pathology, Kyra provides online educational services to the smart but struggling learner. Her experience in neurotrauma has taught her how to rehabilitate brains and help the smart but struggling student succeed in academics while bringing their family peace.
